| Luke 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. 28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. Oh well, so much for thinking that Mary was anything extra special to Jesus. Here was the perfect opportunity to expound on her supposed perpetual virginity, her immaculate conception (herself being born without sin), her position of being the one that people should pray to in order to get Jesus to do something for them, etc., etc., etc., but He does not say anything at all about her. Instead, He says but RATHER the ones that HEAR the word of God and keep it are the blessed ones. Ro 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. If Mary heard what her son said and kept it, she would be blessed, but for no other reason.

| OK. It's about time I posted a new entry.
The other day I was heading out to the mailbox over an ice-covered driveway. Suddenly I lost all traction and with a violent jerk found myself going horizontal in a big hurry. I had slipped on the ice and was headed for instant impact with the frozen black asphalt.
Fortunately for me, I had a secret weapon at my disposal. It was a way-cool feature built right into my system. It's called a "reflex". God included it in His design of the human body and it comes in handy at times like this. Not only did it work instantly and completely, but it worked in perfect harmony with another feature God built into my body too. That other feature is called "balance". Balance is somehow controlled by something in my inner-ear and its work is truly phenomenal. My built-in balance control knows exactly what orientation my body is in at all times and tells my brain to make certain changes via my various muscles in order to keep me going along as I should. The very instant my body began to fall on the driveway my body balance mechanism kicked in, telling my brain to send some juice to certain body muscles in order to contort my body in the opposite direction in order to maintain my balance of weight and allow me to correct my incorrect orientation. This instant orientation correction allowed me to recover from the potential fall and I remained upright, unscathed physically although not so emotionally as someone told me later how silly I looked as I did my little dance down the driveway. But anyway, WOW! That is one truly cool setup God has given each of us to help us deal with life's sometimes unevennesses (like that word?).
So, how in the heck could something as awesome as a balance reflex be something that just "evolved"? How many bazillion times did the poor ape-person smack his face into the ice before he decided to add that balance thing to his being? Did you know that the Segway human transporter uses a whole bunch of computer processors inside of itself just to maintain its own balance? I think it said in an article I recently read that it uses 5 microprocessors to achieve that. Even though they are often very small (that's why they are called MICROprocessors), they are still much larger than what God created in the human inner-ear. And God's model is way better, more reliable and needs no battery either. Man can invent some neat stuff but he is light-years behind God and always will be. Actually man simply is just trying to copy stuff that God has already made. That kind of reminds me of how Microsoft always attempts to copy the Mac computer interface. Mac OS X is also light-years ahead of Windows XP (which also looks pathetic by comparison!). That's What I Think...
